Jayla brings a dual background in public health and anthropology to CLINIGMA®, combining formal training in qualitative methodology with several years of hands-on interviewing, coding, and programme evaluation experience. As Junior Research Associate, she supports the design and delivery of qualitative research projects and conducts in-trial patient interviews, applying a patient-centred approach shaped by her work in community and health equity research.

Qualitative Research and Interviewing

• Conducts ICH-GCP compliant in-trial patient interviews for pharmaceutical research
• Performs quality checks on interview transcripts and translated transcripts, as well as on interview manual and CLINIGMA® Portal translations
• Experienced in developing interview guides and carrying out interviews across multiple health research studies
• Trained in thematic analysis, grounded theory methodology, and inter-rater reliability procedures

Data Analysis and Research Software

• Analysed 120+ hours of video data in Atlas.ti using grounded theory methodology
• Conducted thematic analysis of 30+ participant interviews in MAXQDA
• Managed and cleaned quantitative datasets in SPSS and Apricot to ensure data accuracy and integrity

Implementation Science and Programme Evaluation
