Anu Susan Mathew is a trained public health researcher with cross-sector experience in palliative care, health policy, and qualitative research. At CLINIGMA®, she contributes to in-trial patient interview projects by supporting qualitative analysis, data coding, and reporting, with a focus on accuracy, empathy, and methodological rigour.

Clinical and Qualitative Research Experience
- Supports qualitative data coding and analysis for in-trial interviews conducted within pharmaceutical trials
- Experience designing and implementing qualitative studies using in-depth interviews, focus group discussions, and observational methods
- Contributed to a WHO-funded health financing research project in collaboration with India’s National Health Authority
Public Health and Palliative Care Research
- Master of Public Health (MPH) with a qualitative thesis on the impact of COVID-19 on palliative care services in India
- Oversaw training and mentorship of over 50 interns and trainees in palliative care research
- Expertise in communicating sensitive patient experiences and end-of-life care insights

- Delivered research methodology training for interns and facilitated workshops on systematic reviews and health education
- Organised large-scale academic events and supported the 31st International Conference of the Indian Association of Palliative Care
